Spanish greenhouse technology exports topped 1 billion in 2015

Spain is not only one of Europe's largest producers of horticultural products, but also a key exporter of horticultural technology, equipment and supplies. In the year 2015, Spanish manufacturers of greenhouses, climate & irrigation control, fertilizers, machinery and other suppliers for protected agriculture, were good for a total of 1,1 billion euro in export value.

This shows the importance of the role the Spanish horticultural supply industry plays in the global market for greenhouse technology. In this industry Spain can be seriously considered as one of the largest players.

For this reason, a group of Spanish suppliers will once again participate at the upcoming Fruit Logistica under the patronage of Agragex, the Spanish association of agricultural and livestock equipment exporters. The Agragex pavilion will offer and extensive selection of innovations from Spanish horticulture, greenhouse crops and post-harvesting solutions manufacturers in Hall 8.2, booth A-23. Among the companies are APR Novedades Agricolas, Daymsa, Hefe Fertilizer, Ininsa, Plas-textil, Quimicas Meristem and Rufepa.
