Slavery in Dutch greenhouse?

The court case against the bell pepper grower from Erica, who is suspected of exploitation of a Moroccan worker, has been postponed. The lawyer of the accused has doubts, amongst other things of the interrogation techniques used by the Public Prosecution.

The man is residing illegally in the Netherlands. After a work place accident, he ended up in hospital with severe burns. After weeks of having been in a coma, the circumstances under which the man had to work under, became clear. He would work extremely long hours without breaks or holiday entitlement and sleep in the greenhouse at night. But the lawyer of the suspected employer doubts this. She thinks the man's hearing was not done properly and she suspects he is out to get a residence permit.
