US (NJ): Ultra niche winter lettuce sneak peek

Here is a sneak peek of the Ultra-Niche Crops High Tunnel Winter Lettuce Virtual Field Trip to Chickadee Creek Farm in Pennington, New Jersey.



Rutgers Cooperative Extension is continuing its Ultra-Niche Crop series in 2017 with the workshop “High Tunnel Winter Lettuce”. This workshop, the third class in the Ultra-Niche agricultural series for farmers seeking new crop opportunities, will take place on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The workshop will be held simultaneously in Cape May Court House, Bridgewater and Bordentown, New Jersey.

The speakers panel includes Jess Niederer, 2016 National Outstanding Young Farmer and organic grower at Chickadee Creek Farm (https://chickadeecreekfarm.com/) and award winning County Agent and Food Safety Expert, Meredith Melendez.
