Koos de Vink joins Jano board

Jano Holding, which comprises the companies Javo, Nobels Machinefabriek, Agro Techniek Holland and Javo International, has a new board member. From 1st February 2017, Koos de Vink will join the current directors Ber van Nobelen and Cees Bouwmeester.

The owner, Ber van Nobelen (director and majority shareholder), is pleased with the appointment of Koos de Vink as a new director. “Koos has proven himself in various management positions with previous employers and his knowledge and experience will be of great value to our company. When Cees is retiring in a couple of years, Koos will take over his position. Until then, we can all work on the plans for the future together. The appointment of Koos also guarantees the continuity of the family business.”

The four companies have worked closely together for many years. Nobels began developing and designing machines for flower bulb cultivation in 1956. The Javo machines have been manufactured by Nobels from the very beginning and ATH has been working closely with Nobels since 1959. Javo International was added in 2014 to serve the markets outside the horticultural sector with the Javo Toploader. By combining the four companies in Jano Holding, the group is able to provide the most innovative automation solutions for the agricultural, horticultural and industrial markets.

Since 2010, Koos de Vink (1969) has been the director of a high-tech supplier in the industrial sector. He started working at that company in 1995 and filled various other positions there (including Sales and Marketing Manager). In the years prior to that, Koos de Vink also worked as an Engineering Manager at a machine factory.
Koos de Vink is looking forward to his new position. “The companies of Jano Holding stand for quality and reliability, which offers great opportunities for the future. The Netherlands is a leader in international agricultural and horticultural automation. Javo, Nobels, Agro Techniek Holland and Javo International are major players in these markets. During the orientation interviews, I became increasingly enthusiastic of the fact that the four companies wish to move forwards. I see it as an exciting challenge to develop the group further, together with the employees, so that our customers can be assured of the best technology, also in the future.

Koos de Vink will officially start working at Jano Holding on 1st February 2017, but he will spend quite a bit of time in Katwijk and Noordwijkerhout in January, getting to know the staff of the four companies. Koos will also be present at the Javo stand (3D43) at IPM Essen (the international horticultural trade fair), which will be held from 24th - 27th January.
