No terrain too rough for upgraded spraying vehicle

Spanish horticultural machinery manufacturer IDM Agrometal has upgraded its Fumimatic spraying vehicles with more robust, larger and stronger wheels, in order to allow operators to spray crops in the toughest conditions.

Most of the berry crops are grown in tunnel settings, with high humidity levels. Excess rainfall and drainage channels often create very complicated situations with mud. This makes it very hard to drive on the soil, especially with heavy spraying machinery.

The new version of the 6x6 Fumimatic has a powerful 35 HP engine which ensures an even and safe distribution of the spraying agent without any disruption as the machine can handle big lateral and frontal slopes.

Next to this, IDM has also upgraded their machines with a new version of their retractable spraying boom. Between 9,2 meters wide and 3 meters high, the machine can automatically be adjusted to meet a spraying width and height of any preferred dimension. When maneuvering to another bay, the boom van be folded into a very compact size.

IDM AGrometal will be exhibiting at the upcoming Expo Agroalimentaria Guanajuato in Irapuato Mexico. You can find them at booth 708.
