Canada: NPF&VGA asks for research or service proposals

The Niagara Peninsula Fruit and Vegetable Growers' Association (NPF&VGA) invites submissions of research or service proposals commencing in 2017. Applied research projects must directly benefit the grape, fruit or vegetable industry in the Niagara Peninsula. The research priorities are: Plant Protection; Production Efficiency; Environmental/Ecosystem Impact; Product Quality Improvement; Product Diversification; Genetic Technologies and Reproductive Technologies. 

Budget for 2017 is set at $50,000. Funding support is generally used a seed money for other grants. All approved projects are contingent on applicant(s) receiving matching funds if required.

Proposals should not exceed six pages. Oral presentations for both single and multi year projects may be requested by the directors of the NPF&VGA.
