Well•Pict Berries announces the opening of its virtual Well•Pict Berry Academy.
Designed to inform, educate and excite retailers and their store teams, the Well•Pict Berry Acadamy is literally a crash course on the science and history behind the Well•Pict premium berry brand. Expert tips on grading and handling are featured, helping to get more of the profit-making Well•Pict Berries onto store shelves faster. And attending is easy, because it’s all done online.
Currently comprised of a four-part video series, each visually entertaining video is under 3 minutes in length, so they’re quick and easy to watch. Plans for an expansion to a six-part series are already in the works, addressing additional topics and tips. Subjects currently covered range from the uniqueness of Well•Pict’s premium, proprietary berries to our longstanding commitment to sustainable growing practices, as well as the importance of maintaining the cold chain from farm to store.
In addition to the videos, Well•Pict will be supplying helpful grading tools and aids to qualifying retailers. The Well•Pict Strawberry Inspection Chart is the exclusive education tool of the Well•Pict Berry Academy and features a visual grading system on the back. Both functional and beautiful, it’s defined examples of how to specifically grade a Well•Pict Berry is sure to make it easier for those receiving product at distribution centers and docks.
It’s well known in the industry that Well•Pict Berries are bred to be a darker, softer, sweeter berry at delivery than the competition — which is what consumers want! But Well•Pict recognizes that this can also be a challenge for retailers, and the Well•Pict Berry Academy is structured to decrease any confusion for retailers when receiving a shipment of premium Well•Pict Berries.
