Agro Care and Kesgro announce merger

Dutch tomato growers Agro Care and Kesgro are merging their activities in order to increase their product catalog and serve their customers even better. After 20 years of collaboration, the two large tomato growers will continue under the name of Agro Care. According to the entrepreneurs, the merger is a logical next step for the further development of their companies.

Kesgro has production locations in Wieringermeer, De Lier and in Agadir (Quality Tomato Morocco). Agro Care has operations in Wieringermeer, Rilland and El Hamma (Desert Joy,Tunisia). The combined total acreage of the new company will now be 153 hectare, of which 123 hectare are based in Holland.

Agro Care employs 90 permanent staff, 550 seasonal workers and 250 employees in Morocco and Tunisia. The combined turnover of Agro Care and Kesgro was more than 100 million euros in 2015.
