Between April 20 and May 30 this year, the 17th International Vegetable Science and Technology Expo is held in Shouguang, China. With the theme of "Green, Technology, and Future"�, this exposition has fully combined both showroom and field plantation to show the audience at home and abroad the research and technological development and achievement in the field of Chinese vegetables, and the following technologies have impressed the visitors to the greatest extent: soilless cultivation, strawberry harvesting robot, automatic water system integration, asexual and seedless plantation by the usage of biological tissues, cultivation of Chinese rare species such as caterpillar fungus, and photovoltaic solar panels.

Founded in 2000, this Expo is jointly organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Commerce, Science and Technology Ministry, and the People's Government of Shandong Province. This is an annual event that is held between every April 20 and May 20th in Shouguang Vegetable High-tech Demonstration Vegetable Base. As the only international professional expo on vegetables and the corresponding technology development, this year the Expo was extended 10 more days until May 30th, so that more visitors can come and enjoy it.
