Chinese businessmen to open farm chain in Crimea

Chinese businessmen have expressed a desire to open a chain of farms in Crimea for growing fruit and vegetables, which they plan to supply to local resorts and hotels, reported the head of the Crimean parliament committee on sanatorium-resort complexes and tourism, Alexey Chernyak.

From 16 to 18 May, a delegation headed by the chairman of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov visited China with a presentation of the touristic and investment potential of the republic.

''The representatives of Chinese businesses informed us that they plan to open a chain of farms in Crimea. They are interested in supplying their produce to Crimean resorts and hotels, as this is one of the most stable industries,’’ said Chernyak.
