Leon Verkoelen:

“Berkvens equals mechanical solutions”

Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility looks for mechanical solutions for internal transport in the greenhouse as much as possible. Back in the day, Erwin Berkvens opted for this very consciously. Reliability and solidity motivated him. The uncomplicated maintenance is an extra, but important advantage of this choice.

Leon Verkoelen has been working as a salesman at Berkvens, both nationally and internationally, for a year now. Leon knows his way around horticulture. So he knows how moisture, climate and chemicals affect this type of equipment. Leon: "Our products aren't sensitive to this. The mechanical solutions make for 'foolproof' carts. And no product leaves here without having been sandblasted and treated with powder coating twice. So not even rust should worry our clients."

Leon does business with clients at home and abroad. Leon: "Our products are now in use all over the world... the US, England, Belgium, Canada, Germany, France, New Zealand, Austria, Switzerland, etc. There's always a dealer nearby for support. Berkvens produces picking carts, harvest carts, greenhouse tractors, and we have a system to easily distribute the plant material in the greenhouse."

Things are looking good for Berkvens. The company is growing fast, so they're looking for another, more spacious building.
