Crone manufactures 1000th CLW boiler
The CLW boiler has been developed in the late ‘90’s in order to make the boilers smaller with less water content. This was due to the fact that more and more buffer tanks were being installed and the need for larger water capacities deteriorated. Also price became a larger issue even in that time. The CLW series comes in the capacities from 1 to 12 Gcal/hr or about 1 to 14 Megawatt.
"This is still the most requested type in F&H Crone’s wide boiler assortment", said Rob. "Other boiler series we offer are the CLM (hot water/steam with large water contents), CET (Crone one pass boiler with large combustion chamber), the BXL Excellent (a combination of 1-pass large furnace in a 3-pass fire tube boiler) and for the smaller capacities the CKS boiler series (below 1 Megawatt or 100 bhp)."
Besides the gas/oil boilers F&H Crone also manufactures biomass boiler series CFB and various condenser types to match the gas fired boilers.
In the same year as the 1000th CLW boiler has been sold, F&H Crone have also upgraded the boiler line on several points. "This was to enhance the quality of the brand and to be able to last our customers many more years to come", Rob concluded.
