Turkey: Akas Tarim new distributor for Riococo

Riococo, signed an agreement with its new distributor in Turkey, Akas Tarim ve Seracilik A.Ş. Akas Tarim is a greenhouse grower and a member of the ASA Group of companies which is also active in the construction, tourism, mining, retail and agriculture sectors.

Akas Tarim grows vine tomatoes in 11 ha of glass greenhouses located in Afyon. The company signed the Riococo distribution agreement on April 1, 2016 in order to use its knowledge and experience in wholesale and retail, and to create an opportunity for other companies in the sector to use high quality, 100% coir based substrates.

Akas Tarim will use the same products they’ll sell, therefore the knowledge and the experience of the products will positively affect the quality of the service. Riococo has been selling its products in Turkey since 2013. This new partnership will expand the distribution of Riococo substrate slabs, starter block and plugs in many different markets in Turkey. Riococo supplies customized growing medium solutions for greenhouses in over 40 countries around the world, and with the experience of Akas in the greenhouse industry in Turkey, will open up a new chapter.
