Air France KLM introduces 'Kold Kart' equipment in Mexico

When it comes to carrying temperature sensitive cargo – whether perishables or pharmaceuticals products – keeping the entire logistic chain of transport at the right cool temperature, required both by the shippers and by the products constraints, is a must for our group of airlines whose permanent concern is to provide the adequate solution expected by its customers.

This is all the more true for locations – such as Mexico for instance – where high temperatures are experienced on a regular basis and where the ramp operations are quite distant from the warehouse.

In order to offer the most appropriate solution to this cool chain integrity challenge Air France KLM Martinair Cargo is pleased to announce that it will soon implement the regular use of ‘KOLD KART’ technology to guarantee the cool chain streamline of its Fresh & Pharmaceuticals traffics all the way through.

After a thorough test period of technical evaluation it clearly appeared that KOLD KART technology is the right answer to preserve the temperature integrity requested. This innovative solution enhances the whole cool chain lifetime thus protecting the commodities the best way while reducing waste and extending the shelf life of products transported in these KOLD KARTs. This equipment is naturally fully compatible with our palletized ULDs.

By offering this reliable and comfortable device, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo brings one step further its customized solutions to better serve its customers.
