Brazil: Aqua-4D installs water treatment systems at melon farms
"Thanks to Aqua-4D, we have witnessed an increase in overall quality of the produced fruits as well as a higher quantity per square meter while irrigating with high conductivity water (up to EC6)," says Richard Müller, CFO at Agrícola Famosa.
"These systems have increased our overall yields (up to 20%) as well as the percentage of export quality of the melons in zones irrigated with brackish water."
Müller reports a quick return of investment after installing the systems, and says they want to implement them on other fruit and vegetables varieties as well.
