What if a fertilizer unit can grow with the ambition of the user?

As an answer to the increased global demand for smart and efficient, but simple irrigation control, Senmatic has developed the new AMI Penta irrigation control unit. At first sight the system is specially designed for adaptation inside smaller greenhouse companies, but as the unit is built in a modular setting, it can be easily upgraded to a larger unit that is capable to control a larger or more complex greenhouse setting. In this way the unit can grow with the ambition of user.

Senmatic's new AMI Penta fertilizer mixer with irrigation control focuses on the plant's need for a precise fertilization and accurate acidity in the irrigation water. The AMI Penta fertilizer mixer is easy to operate with menus shown on a large 10.1” touch screen. The user interface is available in almost any language, which makes the unit even more accessible. While the unit is easy in terms of service and maintenance, it still allows remote service over the internet via a built in modem.

Thanks to the modular set up, the AMI Penta can control up to 100 groups with individual start conditions. For each group you can choose between 20 different recipes holding information about EC, pH and the fertilizer mix. Each group can control up to 30 valves which can be chosen freely between the 200 valves available today in the mixer. Up to 4 valves can irrigate at the same time which gives a maximal utilization of the capacity. Irrigation time and volume can be set individually for each valve.

Precise water control
In order to get the same water mix to all valves in the same group, it is possible to mix more water sources and return water in ratio percentage. Depending on how much water is available in a basin the mixer automatically changes the mixing ratio.

Automatic filter cleaning
When using rain water and return water, the filters for incoming water can often clog. This can affect the water pressure and thereby the amounts of water the lead to the fertilizer mixer. Automatic filter cleaning in the AMI Penta ensures rinsing of the filter when a certain water pressure loss is detected. The rinse is performed when the mixer is not busy with other activities.

The AMI Penta can be equipped with the PP40S dosing pump, which gives a precise dosing at different levels in the stock solution tanks. Venturi dosing units are also a possibility, and those give a precise dosing at equal levels in the stock solution tanks.

Technology
The software in AMI Penta is based on a standard operating system and is easy to update and expand with more functions and larger capacity when needed. AMI Penta can be connected to one central PC with the SuperLink central control program.
