How to control the thin line between humidity and wetness?

A common issue growers face during post harvest is high relative humidity. The ability to increase humidity without getting stored crops is a challenge; it requires supreme foggers, accurate design, and precise monitoring devices in an integrated system.

Optiguide is a complete controlled humidity system on the market - a comprehensive solution that provides a uniform, wetness free “Dry Fog” technology.

Optiguide’s ripening and Dry Fog humidification solution includes the static Tabor Atomizer – a uniform dry fog technology that combines low pressure compressed air with water at atmospheric pressure to create vaporizing micro-droplets, ranging in 2-10 microns in diameter. The uniform dry fog immediately evaporates into the air, increasing humidity without wetness. The Static atomizer works without moving parts, and its 1.5 mm diameter orifice prevents clogging for low system maintenance and operation costs.

Optiguide’s technology can be used for wineries in order to reduce “angels share” levels and control evaporation. Optiguide’s wetness free humidification is a tool for cold storage as well, providing a humidity system that helps prevent weight loss in crops like potatoes, carrots, and other fruits and vegetables. Optiguide is also a tool for ripening crops like bananas, avocados, and mangos.
