Fans optimize plant climate, minimize energy costs

De Gier Drive Systems introduces the GEF70 fan. The GEF70 offers a solution to optimize plant climate and minimize energy costs.

Homogeneous greenhouse climate

Displacing the air is one thing, homogeneous distribution in the greenhouse quite another. A more homogeneous greenhouse climate contributes to energy savings. Less heating is needed and there is more control of the relative humidity. Regulating humidity to keep it stable, with less fluctuations, ensures less dry and wet spots. It also promotes quality improvement, there is less risk of disease and it increases production potential.

Recently De Gier introduced the GEF70 fan which creates a large stable air ejection with a desired air speed at plant level. This creates a more homogeneous plant climate making draft and dehydration effects a thing of the past.

Energy saving

The GEF70 distinguishes itself by its energy saving qualities and optimal airflow. The fan is designed to displace at least the same amount of air as a conventional fan with much lower energy consumption. The engine speed is low so the GEF70 produces less noise and turbulence around the fan is minimal.
