Sunset® Flavor tour expands in North America

Sunset’s Flavor Crew is embarking on their second Flavor Tour, with expanded stops to more than eighty retailer locations and events across the U.S. and Canada. As a leading provider of greenhouse grown tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, SUNSET® will sample colorful products like Kumato™ and Y.E.L.O.™, as well as fan-favorites Campari®, Angel Sweet™ and Zima™ tomatoes.



“We’re excited to personally engage with consumers and introduce products that some may not have known about before,” said SUNSET® CEO Paul Mastronardi. “We’re using our Flavor Tour as an opportunity to encourage the consumption of more fresh produce, and to show how versatile and flavorful tomatoes can be.”

The SUNSET® Flavormobile will stop at local retailers and community events for consumers to sample recipes, receive coupons, learn about SUNSET’s greenhouse grown products, and enter to win prizes.



“This is our opportunity to tell the greenhouse story, tell the SUNSET story, and talk everything flavor,” continued Mastronardi. “A lot of people are curious about brands like Kumato™, our brown tomato, or Y.E.L.O.™, our bright yellow tomato, and we want to open the conversation on unique, non-GMO flavor and healthy eating.”

Not only will consumers be sampling great recipes, they’ll also have a chance to enter the Campari 20 Years of Flavor Sweepstakes. The grand prize includes an all-expense paid, ten-day trip for two to Tuscany, Italy, showcasing the beautiful cities of Florence, Montepulciano and Siena.
