Horticoop Technical Services is from June 1st on, the exclusive dealer for AGAM Energy in the Netherlands and its neighbor German Lander (Lower Saxony and North Rhine- Westphalia).
Agam Energy Systems Ltd develops and produces energy-conserving and environmentally friendly dehumidification systems for horticulture. The company is, just like Horticoop, always innovating and stands for developing sustainable solutions to increase the business profit and make a contribution to a better environment.
A fine example of this is the Horticoop Climate Converter (VLHC). A machine, developed by Agam, that decreases the humidity and disease pressure in the greenhouses and on top of that is energy saving.
By drawing humid greenhouse air through a shower of salt, warm air rises that can be used for heating the greenhouse. As a side effect fungi are killed. This causes a decrease of the disease burden of Botrytis and Mildew.
At the moment 17 machines are running in the Netherlands and Germany. With the execution of this exclusive dealership, the next step is taken to further strengthen the cooperation, where high quality and Corporate Social Responsibility are key elements.
Horticoop Technical Services is the technical division of Cooperation Royal Tuinbouwcentrum Horticoop u.a. and for over 40 yrs has been delivering and maintaining high-quality horticultural installations.
