The Canadian market has become a priority goal after the trade mission organised by the INFO (Promotion Institute of the Region de Murcia), in which nine horticultural companies took part, including GRUVENTA.
Based on the data provided by INFO, the main items exported in 2014 from Murcia to Canada were fruit and vegetable preserves (6.97 million Euro), wines (6.02 million Euro), mainly wines with a Designation of Origin (5.9 million Euro); confectionery (5.44 million Euro, approximately) and fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables (3.69 million Euro), among other items.
As explained by GRUVENTA CEO Fermín Sánchez Navarro, "the trade mission to Canada has been very constructive, as it is a very interesting market for Murcia's horticultural products, where quality is appreciated, and which can perfectly complement the European portfolio."
Furthermore, Fermín Sánchez has also stated that "it is very important to congratulate the INFO for this trade mission, which has been carried out in a very professional and highly effective manner, as such missions are vital to the development of our food industry."
