"China: Shanxi province develops "breakthrough in greenhouse control system"

China's Shanxi province recently successfully launched a new control system for large greenhouses and hothouses with improved automation features and connectivity between different components. Jointly developed by Taiyuan University of Technology, Shanxi Modern Technology Research Center, Hongke Electronics Ltd., Shanxi Jvan Electronic Technology Co. Ltd., and other organizations, the system includes upgraded sensors and is predicted to greatly cut down on manual labor and resource waste, and is claimed to be competitive with other international greenhouse control systems.

The system has filed for two patents in China, has two published related scientific papers, one academic dissertation, and formalized one industry performance standard.
