Available exclusively from Cocogreen, H2CoCo will be launched at Fruit Focus - stand 320. “Specifically formulated for use with coir, H2CoCo enables quick and total wetting of the substrate,” explains Thomas Ogden of Cocogreen. “It enables a 1 metre growbag to be rehydrated and ready to plant within an hour, a significant reduction on the usual 2-3 day set up time. H2CoCo makes compressed coir growbags, which are highly efficient to layout in the field, a highly attractive option compared to loose coir growbags.”
Non - ionic and pH neutral, H2CoCo is highly concentrated versus standard wetting agents. With excellent and immediate spreading and penetration characteristics, it moves water vertically and horizontally throughout the entire substrate - not just the surface.
“This blend of surfactants also reduces overall irrigation requirements,” explains Thomas. “The amount of irrigation is significantly reduced, due to less run-off, especially during initial wetting. Easy and flexible to apply, when used during the fertigation cycle H2CoCo aids the movement of fertilizers throughout the substrate eliminating hot-spots.
“It is also excellent at preventing the hardening of water repellent deposits, helping to extend the life and performance of the substrate and ultimately the crop.”
