With FVG's last Newsflash back in April they did inform you on the difficult situation in the supply of raw material. They want to update you on the current developments and bring you up to date.
Unfortunately there is no good news as of today. In the past weeks it has gotten more and more difficult to arrange regular and constant supplies. Demand is still above availability. Furthermore a weak EURO is adding to the problems, as supplies from alternate sources outside of Europe are usually based in US$ currency.
All these developments do result in further price adjustments, especially for greenhouse films.
FVG therefore do have to inform you that they have increased the price for PE Greenhouse film as of 15th of June by another 0.015 EURO per sqm.
This adjustment of prices is unfortunately not limited to the greenhouse film range. Rather many plastic products. Please get in touch with your contact person at FVG to get current prices.
A further outlook on the raw material market is very difficult and is not giving a bright view. FVG does not see an ease in the supply situation in the short term. As soon as they can foresee further developments they will update you immediately.
