Turkey: Opportunities for greenhouse development in Manisa

The province of Manisa is one of the investment regions in Turkey where new businesses can enjoy tax breaks and subsidies on the purchase of industrial land. Manisa has warm summers and plenty of sunlight throughout the year, making the region extremely suitable for horticulture. Moreover, Manisa is easily accessible because of its location near the port city of Izmir. Izmir also has an airport with direct flights to the Netherlands.

In the coming years, the region means to focus on horticulture (greenhouses) and development of industrial estates. This may provide opportunities for Dutch greenhouse builders, known in Turkey for their high quality products.
