Long freshness with Living Lettuce

Pure Flavor has recently introduced a new line of product offering, Living Lettuce. "Unlike others, Pure Flavor’s Living Lettuce does not stop growing after being picked from the greenhouse and it’s definitely guaranteed to be a great eating option that will provide nutritious value, freshness and crispiness," explains Sarah Pau from Pure Flavor.

"When Pure Flavor thinks of fresh, they think of freshness from the day it is purchased to the day it is last served. Pure Flavor Living Lettuce is picked and packaged with its growing medium intact which means it will continue to be nourished even when it is out of the greenhouse."

Currently there are 5 different types of living lettuces available;

Boston Green Leaf Lettuce – large, loose leaf heads with thick leaves. Soft, tender, buttery texture perfect for classic burgers and BLTs.
Boston Red Leaf Lettuce – large, loose leaf heads with thick leaves. Tender, buttery flavor perfect for gourmet dishes and lettuce wraps.
Green Oak Leaf Lettuce – loose leaf head with distinctly lobed leaves that are tasty and tender with a sweet flavor. Best suited to wraps.
Red Oak Leaf Lettuce – loose leaf head with distinctly lobed leaves. Perfect for accompanying delicate flavors and vinaigrettes.
Spring Mix Leaf Lettuce – A combination of Green Oak and Red Oak Salanova® lettuce in a single growing medium. Allows for a diverse flavor profile.

With its hassle free instructions on the back of the packaging, consumers can continue to grow and enjoy the freshest and tastiest lettuce right out of the consumer’s kitchen.
