Replacing worn energy screens makes economic sense

Energy screens are in constant use (typically 1,500 hours every year) and not only wear but gradually accumulate dirt and grime that together significantly reduce both their insulation properties and light transmission. The images below illustrate the typical difference in light transmission between new and old screens.

Older screens have inferior insulation properties to modern materials and with normal wear and tear can lose 2% of their effectiveness every year. Eventually, it makes economic sense to consider replacing them.
