We invite scientific abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Abstracts are limited to 300 words and must be in good English. A submitted abstract that does not follow ISHS guidelines, has >300 words, or does not have near-perfect English will be returned to the author for corrections and if not improved and re-submitted by the deadline, the abstract could be rejected.
Please read and carefully follow guidelines in the ISHS Authors Guide, which is online at: http://www.ishs.org/authors. When submitting your abstract, you will be asked whether you have a preference for an oral or poster presentation. Selection of oral presentations will be competitive, determined by the conveners, and based on subject matter and scientific rigor. Submission of abstracts will end on 15 May 2015 and no deadline extension is expected.
Corresponding abstract authors will be notified by 1 July 2015 whether their abstract has been accepted and if so, as a poster or oral presentation. Regardless of presentation type, all corresponding authors must register for the conference by 15 January 2016 or their abstract will be withdrawn. All oral presenters will be required to submit a manuscript for the Acta Hort. proceedings (more details to be provided); poster presenters are strongly encouraged but not required to submit a proceedings manuscript.
We will use the ISHS Symposia Management System for submission of all abstracts and manuscripts. Abstracts or manuscripts submitted by any other method will not be considered or accepted. For more information, please download the Author Manual (in pdf format) for the management system.
