Rural Energy for America Program:

USDA grants available to retrofit your heating system

The first USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grant deadline for energy efficient heating projects is April 30, 2015. Too busy? A second deadline has been published with a date of June 30, 2015 for those unable to submit their applications by the first deadline.

According to BioTherm, The USDA REAP Grant will fund:

- Retrofit projects
- Up to 25% of the project cost
- Up to two years to implement the project
- Hot water heating solutions
