Mexico and Holland to strengthen cooperation:

Mexico: Dutch secretary to visit Agropark in Queretaro

Next week, the Dutch state secretary of Economical Affairs Sharon Dijksma will be participating in a trade mission to Mexico. The delegation will be visiting the Agropark in Queretaro as well as the premises of Koppert Biological System in Mexico.

Dijksma will be meeting with the Mexican minister of Agriculture, Martinez. They will be discussing the collaboration between Mexico and Holland in agriculture.

Mexico and Holland are close partners in the field of agriculture; over the past year the export of agricultural goods from Holland to Mexico increased to a value of 182 million Euro in 2013. The most important products are cheese and flowerbulbs. Also agricultural and horticultural technology are important products. The total value of the Dutch agricultural exports is 80 million Euro. The total value of the Mexican agricultural export is 20 million Euro.
