Hoogendoorn Tip: Drying screen off as a preventative measure to stop condensed water running off

Many growers currently close their screens during the night. Due to the plants producing moisture, the screen will then get damp. When it then opens in the morning, it can start to “rain” when folding a damp screen upwards. To prevent this, it can be handy to dry out your screen temporarily when opening it, before it is folded up completely.

The Hoogendoorn iSii allows you to do this quite easily by opening the screen in 2 steps. This means that the screen is opened 85% in step 1, and that the last 15% are only opened after, say, 90 minutes, so the screen can dry out during this time. Of course these 90 minutes can be adjusted as required based on influences chosen by yourself.
