New smartphone app finds the right propagation tray

HerkuPlast introduces a QuickSearch app that allows growers and distributors to find trays easier. The programme of HerkuPlast propagation trays has been growing rapidly over the years; the company is now selling appr. 150 models in different qualities, resulting in appr. 450 options.

In order to find your way in a programme this big, Alfred Boot, sales director says; "The app pretends to be the sales representative. When I ask the right questions I can narrow this range of 450 options down to a handful".

The app askes for a few specifications in order to seach the trays, namely:

tray dimension ?
cell volume ?
amount of plants per square meter/foot ?
durable or light quality ?

The app then shows you the models that will fit your needs. This information can be emailed to you.

The tool is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch and Italian. This new tool works for IOS and Android. It provides an enhanced real-time tray search similar to the already exisiting website tool.
