Peter Dekker Installaties opens webshop with screen materials

Customers are getting larger and the market is becoming increasingly international. Worldwide, there is a need - not only for screen installations - but also for materials to maintain these installations. To better meet this demand, PDI has launched an online shop.

In the old days, the screen mechanics of PDI could drive over to a nursery to replace the polyester threads or a clamp, but with today’s internationalization of the industry, this is no longer feasible. The distances are simply too great. "Also, we see that large farms are increasingly working with their own service technicians," says René de Koning. This also affects the questions that come up in the business: customers need parts for self-maintenance and to make repairs. To accommodate this developing need, PDI has launched a shop in three languages.

Maintenance
"It's a bit of convenience for the professional grower," says King. "We ourselves provide mostly complete installations. That's a whole package. But the shop is mainly about spare parts for maintenance. For example if you want to change polyester threads, ordering online is much easier. You’ll find exactly what you need there."

The site features screens, but also fasteners, facades, walls and tools - the whole package.
