Panama: Register now for the International Congress on Controlled Environment Agriculture 2015

The International Congress on Controlled Environment Agriculture (ICCEA 2015) will take place on May 20-22, 2015 in Panama City. The congress is targeted to all people involved in urban agriculture, indoor food production, vertical farming, greenhouse production or hydroponic farming.

The congress offers an opportunity to learn from some of the most innovative minds in the industry Speakers will focus on the skills and knowledge needed to finance, design and operate a successful and innovative farm. The event will focus on the six main areas of Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA); Managing the Environment, Managing Nutrient Solutions, Managing your Growing Systems, Managing Light, Managing Water and Managing Energy. The main speaker for the conference is Professor Toyoki Kozai from the Chiba University. Currently, he is leading Research and Development for Controlled Environment Agriculture with a main focus in vertical farms for commercial food production. Professor Kozai has an extension as a professor emeritus in an endowed chair position at the Centre for Environment, Health and Field Sciences, Chiba University, with a special focus on medicinal plant production under controlled environments. Since 2010, he has been working as the Chief-director of Japan Plant Factory Association, a non-profit organization.
