Meilland introduces a new Drift rose at IPM Essen 2015

This year, Meilland introduces a new cultivar in the DRIFT® Roses Series: Popcorn DRIFT® Novarospop. From a small yellow bud, Popcorn DRIFT® explodes into a white flower with golden sparkles. It is a great DRIFT® variety, very resistant and very floriferous. Compact and easy, it mixes easily with other DRIFT® roses.

From the breeder of MEIDILAND® ‘the real landscape roses’, comes "the next big thing for small gardens". Like all varieties that Meilland bred over 140 years, Drift® Roses are a real breakthrough: repeat-bloomers, tough, disease resistant, winter hardy and virtually maintenance-free. Just plant and Enjoy!
DRIFT® Roses are a cross between full-size groundcover roses and miniature roses. From the former they take their toughness, disease resistance and winter hardiness and from the miniatures, they inherited their well-managed size and repeat- blooming nature.

Continuously blooming from spring to frost, they are naturally compact, with very attractive foliage. They are winter hardy to zone 4.

The series is composed of seven varieties — The novelty Popcorn DRIFT® Novarospop, Icy DRIFT® Meipicdevoj, Coral DRIFT® Meidrifora, Peach DRIFT® Meiggili, Sweet DRIFT® Meiswetdom, Pink DRIFT® Meijocos and Red DRIFT® Meigalpio, DRIFT® Roses have exceptional tolerance to rust and black spot.
The low, spreading habit of DRIFT® Roses makes them perfect for small gardens and combination planters. They brighten up borders, fill in empty spaces, and spread delicately around your favourite established plants.

Meilland can be visited at booth number 1C37.
