Will we see you in Niagara Falls next week?

It's only one week to go till the 35th edition of the Canadian Greenhouse Conference; the premier event for commercial scale greenhouse horticulture and horticulture in North America. This year the CGC offers 30 Sessions, 45 Speakers - National and International, Keynote Speaker Sonja Dümmen, 85,000 square feet of sold out Exhibit Space with 200 Exhibiting Companies, New Product and New Variety Displays, a Happy Hour and The Gathering event. Prior to the show, a (sold-out) bus tour is being organized by the Canadian Greenhouse Conference. Also HortiDaily.com will be present at the CGC '14. We will make full reports of the Bus Tour and The Conference. You can also visit us at booth #2006.

The 2014 bus tour will visit 3 Niagara and 2 Simcoe area operations, and covers everything from water management, automation, potted greenhouse ornamentals, high wire cucumber production, packing lines, pest management, biomass combustion, orchid production and tomato production in rockwool. A greenhouse vegetable propagation facility rounds out the day.

During the tour we will visit Boekestyn Greenhouses in St. Catharines, W. Martens Greenhouses in Vineland, Westbrook Greenhouses Plant 4 in St. Catharines. We will have a lunch at Vineland Research Station followed by visits to Berkel Greenhouse Inc in Simcoe and Proplant Propagation Services in Jarvis.
