According to Darcy, the new Turbo H112 is a great machine for growers producing 1-3 million plugs per year. It comes as a Plug & Play, meaning that it is easy to get started and to operate. You will just have to switch on the power. Furthermore the machine comes with a double kitset making it possible for the grower to have double capacity or run with two different diameters at the same time e.g. 25 mm and 35 mm. And finally if the grower wants to place the pots automatically in the tray, the Turbo H112 is easily connected to the new Turbo Multiflex and this for a relative small investment.
“And besides flexibility and high capacity on the Turbo Multiflex, options like tray stacker, destacker, dibble, drill, irrigation unit, seeder, cover etc. is among other appliances which are available as well for the new machine,” adds Darcy.
The new H112 and Turbo Multiflex are already for sale and the feedback from the market is good and very promising. “Nursery managers are looking to scale up their production because of a shorter and shorter lead time from receiving orders to delivery. A production scale up which should be made without huge investments. And that is exactly what they get with the two new machines,” says Darcy.
"Finally, nursery managers are also saying that faster and healthier root development are giving great savings on labor and less use of resources, easy sorting and patching, reduced transplant shock," Darcy said.
