Canada: Westland Introduces the Novavert retractable roof structure

Westland has partnered with Novavert to offer a high-quality, affordable Outdoor Structure with a Retractable Roof system. This was designed for a multitude of uses, including hardening your crop and extending your growing area with a flexible use structure.

The truss is designed at 22 inches high with a 5% slope to allow for water run-off. We’ve manufactured it this way to increase its strength, give space for the cloth to drop when open, and still allow the use of the bottom cord of the truss for irrigation or hanging baskets. Our system and structure combination allows you to protect your valuable crop during even adverse weather conditions including high winds and hard rain or frost. ,

The components used in the Novavert system are also very strong, and in this case we used an impermeable solar woven cloth which is so strong you can stand on it! However this system can also use shade cloth, blackout material and even energy saving material with 2 layers depending on your intended use.
